Retail outlets have long known the advantage of a sale. It is an excellent way to draw people into the store and once they are inside they are liable to purchase much more than just the one item for which they came. Of course, we just experienced the chaos of “Black Friday.” You want to know about another sale?

Last month, Neiman Marcus advertised that it had ten Italian sport cars that they were putting on sale. They were the famous Ferrari automobiles and could be picked up for a mere $395,000. Neiman Marcus announced that all ten were sold within fifty minutes. $395,000 for a car!

It seems that some people really recognize a bargain when they see it!

   I think it says there must be an aching lack of real fulfillment in the lives of those ten bargain hunters that they hope a hole in their soul can be filled by a Ferrari.
